The league leading Red Sox face the league worst Toronto Blue Jays over the weekend and here is the round-up of the Saturday stats you need to know:

  • Four Red Sox players have a .500 batting average against the Jay’s Saturday night starter Esmil Rogers – Stephen Drew, Mike Napoli, Jonny Gomes and Dustin Pedroia

  • Boston are one victory away from 50 wins

  • Toronto are currently one game under .500

  • Koji Uehara has successfully closed three straight games and figures to be unavailable on Saturday

  • In his last five games Andrew Bailey has three blown saves and a 16.62 ERA

  • Ryan Dempster will go for win number six on Sunday when he faces off against Mark Buehrle

  • Dempster is 3-3 in his last six starts, reducing his ERA by .54 over that spell
